PUBLIC HEARING ON DETERMINATION OF NUISANCE AND ORDER OF ABATEMENT
Notice of hearing of a complaint alleging a nuisance under Nevada Revised Statute 244.360 and Washoe County Code Chapters 50 and 125 on private property at 320 Quartz Lane, Washoe County, NV, APN #085-330-11. The alleged nuisance generally consists of the accumulation of trash, debris and/or dumping of junk vehicles on the property affecting the health, safety, and welfare of the community. At the hearing, the Washoe County Board of Commissioners will hear proof concerning the alleged nuisance, including from any complainant and the owner or occupant of the property in question. If a public nuisance is determined to exist on the property, options may include: pursuing administrative enforcement including abatement, directing the commencement of a civil action for abatement in the courts, or ordering a non-judicial abatement of a nuisance. The Board will hold a public hearing at 10:00 am on June 16, 2026 at 10:00 am in the Commission Chambers located at 1001 E. 9th Street, Building A Reno, NV 89512.
