CITY OF SUNLAND PARK, NEW MEXICO NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE   Notice is hereby given of the title and general subject matter contained in an Ordinance which the City Council of the City of Sunland Park, New Mexico, intends to adopt at its regular meeting on Tuesday June 2nd, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. City Hall, City Council Chambers, 1000 McNutt Rd., Sunland Park, New Mexico.   The title of the Ordinance is as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-6-2 OF THE SUNLAND PARK CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO THE COUNTING OF VOTES AND ABSTENTIONS; ESTABLISHING THAT AN “AYE” SHALL BE COUNTED AS A YES, A “NAY” SHALL BE COUNTED AS A NO, AND AN ABSTENTION SHALL BE RECORDED AS NEUTRAL AND NOT COUNTED AS EITHER; REPEALING INCONSISTENT PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
