LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF PEEKSKILL NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE 2026 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL HEARING OF COMPLAINTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Chapter 170 of the Charter for the City of Peekskill that the undersigned City Assessor has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the year 2026. The Assessor shall be in attendance to answer any questions or assist any interested party by phone or in person during the following dates and times: Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.*; Monday, June 8, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.* (*by appointment only); Wednesday, June 10, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and Friday, June 12, from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The Assessor can be reached at (914) 734-4191. A copy of said roll will be filed in the Assessor's Office and will be available to be viewed online at www.cityofpeekskillny.gov from June 1, 2026, where it may be seen and examined until the third Tuesday, the 16th of June 2026, and that on such day, the Board of Assessment Review will convene between the hours of 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the Grievance Hearings at Peekskill City Hall, 840 Main Street, Peekskill, NY, to review any assessments at the instance of an interested party. Please take further notice that all applications regarding complaint with respect to the assessment roll shall be filed on a form prescribed by the State Office of Real Property Services, on or before Grievance Day, with the Assessor or the Board of Assessment Review, and such form may be obtained from the Assessor's Office and the city website.
