NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals marked as Bid Proposal – PUTNAM LANDING PARK / ADAMSVILLE ROAD DRAINAGE REPAIRS – will be received by the City of Zanesville, Ohio at the Office of the Public Service, Municipal Building Room 228, 401 Market Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701, until twelve (12) o’clock noon June 10, 2026 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Scope of Work: The project involves drainage conduit replacement and associated repairs at two locations. Materials shall adhere to the latest State of Ohio, Department of Highway Construction and Material Specifications. The engineer’s estimate is $250,000.00. The project construction completion date is October 30, 2026. The instructions to bidders, specifications, bidding documents, contract, and other documents may be examined and/or obtained from the Engineer: Charles Saunders, 401 Market Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701, telephone: (740) 617-4895, email: csaunders@coz.org. Bidders who submit a bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the issuing office. Plan Holders are required to provide an email address to receive addenda and other information electronically. All questions shall be submitted to the engineer via email. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The City of Zanesville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive formalities, re-advertise and/or take such other steps decreed necessary and in the best interests of the City.
