NOTICE OF CONDITIONAL USE HEARING
TOWNSHIP OF ABINGTON
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Abington Township, on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at Penn State University, Sutherland Building Auditorium located at 1600 Woodland Road, Abington, will resume and hold a public hearing and take action on the following pending matter:
Applicant: Chaverim Realty Partners, LLC
Property: For the property located at 1209 Rydal Road, Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and is identified as Montgomery County Tax Parcel No. 30-00-61132-00-2
This is an application requesting Conditional Use approval pursuant to Section 301 of the Abington Township Zoning Ordinance to permit Use E-10: Life Care Facility (Continuing Care) and Use E-12: Nursing Home in the R-1 Low-Density Residential Zoning District.
A copy of the application is on file with the Code Enforcement Office of the Township of Abington and may be reviewed by appointment only between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please contact the Township at tcastorina@abingtonPA.gov or (267) 536-1003 to schedule an appointment.
