NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   The City Council of Hopewell, Virginia will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building located at 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia, 23860, to receive public comments regarding the following item(s):   An ordinance creating Hopewell City Code § 1-11- Oath of Office for City Manager, City Clerk, City Attorney, and members of certain boards and commissions.   An ordinance repealing and reenacting Hopewell City Code §§ 9.41-9.61.   An ordinance to formally adopt and codify a franchise agreement previously executed by the City Manager.   A copy of the proposed ordinances are available for public review at the City Clerk’s Office.   If the public would like to make any comments regarding this public hearing, they may do so by submitting it in writing to the clerk’s office located at 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860 or via e-mail at cityclerk@hopewellva.gov.
