REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) NO. 6000001687 C43 CALOOSAHATCHEE RIVER WEST BASIN STORAGE RESERVOIR EMBANKMENT IRRIGATION SERVICES, HENDRY COUNTY, FL The Procurement Bureau of the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), B-1 Building, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33406, will receive sealed proposals up to 2:30 p.m. opening time on July 01, 2026. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for cyclical embankment irrigation services for a grassed embankment of various widths, while adjusting to various fixed objects including water control structures, bollards, end walls, and cross drains. Estimated irrigation for C43 embankment is 2,280 acres annually. A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., on-site at SFWMD Clewiston Field Station located at 2425 Hookers Point Road, Clewiston, FL 33440. All Respondents who wish to respond to this Solicitation must be present and on time at the Conference and Site Visit. Proposals will not be accepted from Respondents who either did not attend the Conference and Site Visit or who are more than fifteen (15) minutes late. Work site visits will immediately follow the Conference and may include travel through rough terrain and remote and heavy vegetative areas.
