TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANT AMIR G. GHABRIAL:
You are notified that on April 1st, 2026, a Civil Citation was filed in the Clerk of Court for Polk County, Small Claims Division, Polk County Justice Center, 222 5th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309, naming you as Defendant in the above-captioned action. The Citation states that the property locally known as 1428 E. 21st Street, and legally described as LOT 73 DELEWARE PLACE, is in violation of Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Chapter 102, Section 43(4) and Section 43(7).
Plaintiff prays that the Court order the Defendants to cure these violations or authorize the City of Des Moines to enter the area of the property in order to abate these violations if the Defendants fail to do so.
Further, the Plaintiff requests that the court asses in rem against the property for the costs of this action and the costs incurred in the enforcement of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, inclusive of all fines and civil penalties incurred, with interest.
