NOTICE TO PUBLIC AND BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Mishawaka, Indiana, acting by and through its Board of Public Works & Safety (the “Board”), will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 a.m., local time, Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Office of the City Controller, on the first floor of City Hall, 100 Lincolnway West, Mishawaka, Indiana, 46544 at which time and place all bids will be opened and read aloud in the Board of Public Works Room on the second floor of City Hall, for the following:

Specifications are on file and available at the Office of the City Controller, first floor of City Hall, 100 Lincolnway West, Mishawaka, Indiana and may be reviewed between the hours of eight-thirty (8:30) a.m. and four-thirty (4:30) p.m. Monday through Friday.
Bids must be submitted on the colored proposal form provided in the bid package, accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of the City of Mishawaka in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, Financial Statement, Employment Eligibility Verification, Certificate Regarding Investment in Iran, U.S. Manufactured Product Certification, Nondiscrimination Commitment for Contacts, Certification of Bidder regarding Section 3 and Segregated Facilities, and Certification of Bidder Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity.
The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period, and in addition, a Maintenance Bond in an amount of 10% for a period of three years from the date of final completion will be required.
The successful bidder will be required to pay laborers, workmen and other employees on the work under this contract not less than the most current prevailing wage scale at the time of bid in accordance with the provision of the Predetermined Minimum Wage Determination (Davis-Bacon ACT) General Decision Number IN20260001. The prevailing wage scales determination is included in the specifications.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, irregularities or omissions in any bid, or to accept a full or partial bid, which, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the City of Mishawaka.
