NEWTOWN BOROUGH ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES   Newtown Borough will receive sealed bids for snow removal and anti-skid material application services for the periods October 1, 2026 through April 1, 2029. Bids must be submitted electronically to manager@borough ofnewtown.com no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and logged electronically. Email subject line: “2026 Snow Removal Bids.” Bid forms and specifications are available at www.borougho fnewtown.com or by request to manager@boroughofnewto wn.com. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the total bid amount. Bid pricing shall be based on hourly equipment rates multiplied by ten (10) hours. Suc-cessful bidders must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount within fifteen (15) days of award. Questions must be submitted to the Borough Manager by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The successful bid-der must be available during inclement weather and provide insurance naming Newtown Borough as an additional in-sured. Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award contracts in the Borough’s best interest. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the submission deadline only.
