INVITATION FOR BIDS  Millcreek Township will receive sealed proposals for the following item until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Millcreek Township Engineering Office, Millcreek Township Municipal Building, 3608 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506-2037, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Township Building Asphalt Resurfacing Project – 2026. This project entails milling and asphalt resurfacing a portion of the Streets Department parking lots just north of the Millcreek Township Municipal Building. All restoration is also included in the bid. This project is subject to coverage under the Davis-Bacon and related acts. Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed/obtained at the office of the Millcreek Township Engineering Department, 3608 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506, (814- 833-1111 x 373) or sent via email (Please email Chad McConnell at cmcconnell@millcreektownship.com for a pdf copy of the bid package). Any Contractor intending to submit a bid must provide a non-refundable deposit of $25.00, before the bid opening, as proof of receipt for contract document delivery. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Millcreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Bids shall be announced at the meeting of the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Municipal Building, at which time action to award a contract may be taken.
