ERIE WATER WORKS will receive sealed bids for the 240 West 12th Street Renovations project at the offices of Weber Murphy Fox, 3230 West Lake Road, Erie, PA 16505 until 2:00 PM local prevailing time, Tuesday, June 30th, 2026. At that time, the bids will be opened publicly. Separate bids will be required on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: 06 10 00-2026-05A-GENERAL TRADES, 06 22 00-2026-05B-MILLWORK, 07 40 00-2026-05C-ROOFING, 09 65 00-2026-05D-FLOORING, 09 90 00-2026-05E-PAINTING, 12 50 00-2026-05F-FURNITURE, 21 05 00-2026-05G-FIRE PROTECTION, 22 05 00-2026-05H-PLUMBING, 23 50 00-2026-05I-HVAC, 26 05 00-2026-05J-ELECTRICAL AND TECHNOLOGY. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate and mailed or delivered in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked on the face of the envelope the words "Erie Water Works – 240 West 12th Street Renovations Project". If the bid is mailed, the envelope containing the bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the words "Sealed Bid enclosed for (contract you will be bidding)" endorsed on the face thereof. All bidders must submit a bid bond. Payment, Performance and Maintenance Bonds are required for this project. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) after the Bid Due Date.
