TOWNSHIP OF RIVERSIDE NOTICE TO BIDDERS   Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Riverside Township for “NJDOT FY2023 TA Set-Aside - Pavilion Ave Streetscape Improvements” project and will be opened and read in public at the Township of Riverside Administrative Offices located at 237 South Pavilion Avenue, Riverside, New Jersey 08075, on June 24, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans of the construction of NJDOT FY2023 TA Set-Aside - Pavilion Avenue Streetscape Improvements in the Township of Riverside, New Jersey, including but not limited to concrete curbing, concrete driveway aprons, 2” HMA surface milling and overlay. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal is 8%. The Emerging Small Business Enterprise (ESBE) goal is 0%. Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents, prepared by Pennoni Associates, Township Engineer, for the proposed work may be inspected at the Office of the Municipal Clerk, 237 South Pavilion Avenue, Riverside, New Jersey 08075-0181 (Telephone No. 856-461-1460 ext. 2) during normal business hours. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Susan Dydek, RMC, Township Clerk, 237 South Pavilion Avenue, Riverside, New Jersey 08075, marked on the outside with words: BID: NJDOT FY2023 TA Set-Aside - Pavilion Ave Streetscape Improvements and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. All bidders and the general public are invited to be present for this bid opening. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed bid forms, providing one (1) original and one (1) copy. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond.
