SECTION 1
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
MAINTENANCE DREDGING SERVICES
The Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is requesting Proposals from qualified and experienced dredging contractors to provide maintenance dredging services for PCCA-maintained docks, berths, and related facilities.
The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contractual framework through which the PCCA may efficiently and cost-effectively perform maintenance dredging services in support of port operations. Specifically, the PCCA seeks to:
• Maintain required and operational water depths at PCCA maintained docks, berths, and related facilities;
• Reduce overall dredging costs through planned and coordinated maintenance dredging activities;
• Improve responsiveness to maintenance dredging needs; and
• Minimize draft restrictions and navigational impacts caused by shoaling.
Through this RFP, PCCA intends to enter into a renewable, multi-year agreement under which maintenance dredging services may be performed on an as-needed basis. While the primary focus of the agreement is maintenance dredging at PCCA maintained facilities, the resulting contract may also be utilized, as appropriate, to perform maintenance dredging at PCCA customer docks and slips within the port, and, in certain cases, to support maintenance dredging of federal navigation channels maintained by or on behalf of PCCA, subject to applicable approvals and requirements.
No minimum quantity of work is guaranteed, and the PCCA reserves full discretion as to the timing, location, and extent of dredging services performed under the agreement.
Firms interested in providing dredging services may obtain the complete RFP at the PCCA’s procurement website (https://pocca.procureware.com/home). Interested contractors must register on the Port’s procurement website in order to access the RFP online.
In order to be considered, Proposals must be received electronically at PCCA’s procurement website (https://pocca.procureware.com), addressed to the Port of Corpus Christi Authority, Attn: Melinda Licon, Manager of Procurement Services, 400 Charles Zahn, Jr. Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401, no later than 3:00 PM CST on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 (the “Deadline”). Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. Proposals may not be faxed or emailed to PCCA office. PCCA reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals received.
Proposers must not attempt to contact Staff members, Commissioners, or Agents of the PCCA associated with this RFP to discuss or ask questions about the contents of the RFP. Any questions should be submitted in writing via the PCCA’s Procurement website.
