LEGAL NOTICE   The following are summaries of ordinances adopted by Canton City Council on May 11, 2026. Ave. S.W., Canton, Ohio 44702, during non-holiday weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ordinance No. 78/2026 The Mayor or Safety Director is authorized to enter into a three-year service contract in a total amount not to exceed $270,000 ($90,000 per year) with The Amazing Cloud to supply the Police Dept. with cloud hosting; including transportation, storage, and technical support of camera data information in accordance with any procurement process authorized by law. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 79/2026 Council accepts the annexation of the territory known as The 3222 Bruening Ave SW – 2025 Annexation containing approx. 3.282 acres of land per the legal description (Ex. A) and the map (Ex. B). Said annexed land from Canton Twp. shall be assigned to Ward 5 and zoned I-2 (Heavy Industry District). Adopted as an emergency.
