ZONING HEARING NOTICE TAKE NOTICE that a hearing will be held before the Jackson Township Zoning Hearing Board on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. in the Jackson Township Building, 439 Roth’s Church Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362, for the purpose of considering an application filed by Jason W. Yohe of 9078 Orchard Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362, Tax Map GE, Parcel 165, in the Rural Conservation Zone, for a special exception under zoning section 133-54 to operate a commercial livestock operation (chicken house) in the Rural Conservation (RC) district, a use not listed in RC zoning sections 133-8(B) & 133-10 and in so doing, expand a prior dimensional nonconformity in order to expand the chicken house under zoning section 133-92, and a variance under zoning section 133-53 & 133-117 (A) to allow an encroachment into the 1,000 feet setback from neighboring property lines.
