NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, will hold a public hearing pursuant to Iowa Code § 364.7 to consider the proposed lease of certain City-owned real property for a term exceeding three (3) years.

PROPOSED LEASE TERM
The proposed lease shall commence upon execution of the lease agreement and shall have an initial term of fifty (50) years. The lease shall include one (1) renewal option for an additional term of twenty-five (25) years, for a maximum total lease term of seventy-five (75) years, subject to the terms and conditions of the lease agreement.

A copy of the proposed lease agreement is on file and available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1200 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309. The City Council will receive comments from the public regarding the proposed lease at the date and time listed above. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.
