Notice is hereby given that Palmyra Borough Council at its meeting on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the Palmyra Borough Municipal Center, 325 South Railroad Street, Palmyra, Pennsylvania, shall conduct a public hearing on and, at the conclusion of the public hearing or at a subsequent meeting held within 60 days after the date of third publication of this advertisement shall enact an ordinance, the caption of which is as follows: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PALMYRA BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 380, ZONING, TO REVISE REGULATIONS GOVERNING AMUSEMENT ARCADES. The proposed ordinance may be summarized as follows. Section 1 amends Chapter 380, Zoning, of the Code of Ordinances to revise the definition of amusement arcade. Section 2 amends Chapter 380 to revise uses allowed in the Central Business District. Sections 3 – 5 reaffirm all other parts and provisions of the Code of Ordinances, provide for severability of any invalid provisions, and set forth the effective date.
