BOX 243, 271 ROUTE 715, BRODHEADSVILLE PA 18322 HYPSIE GAP ROAD RECONSTRUCTION - PHASE III CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY, PA   ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   Sealed Bids for the construction of the HYPSIE GAP ROAD RECONSTRUCTION – PHASE III will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Chestnuthill Township, until 3 pm local time on July 1, 2026, at which time the bids received will be opened and publicly available through PennBid.   The opened bids will be considered and possibly awarded by the Township Board of Supervisors at its regular meeting scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, 271 PA-715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.   The Project consists of FULL BASE GRIND, DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, AND PLACEMENT OF 2A FILL ALONG A 2,469 FOOT SECTION OF HYPSIE GAP ROAD. THE PROJECT IS LOCATED ON HYPSIE GAP ROAD AT THE INTERSECTION OF ROSEBAY ROAD AND HYPSIE GAP ROAD AND WILL CONTINUE WEST FOR 2,469 FEET. THE PROJECT INCLUDES ANCILLARY ITEMS, SUCH AS GRADING, DRAINAGE, PIPE INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT, GRADE BREAK CONSTRUCTION, SEEDING, AND DRY LAID STONE WALL CONSTRUCTION. No access will be permitted through Jackson Township. ALL CONSTRUCTION TO TAKE PLACE BETWEEN JULY 15, 2026, AND SEPTEMBER 30, 2026.   Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be based on a lump sum basis as indicated on the Bid Form.
