The City of Heath Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Municipal Building, 1287 Hebron Road Heath, Ohio to review the following request for Building and Zoning variances:
Case # 11-2026 (645 Huron Dr./030-088170-14.004)
Robert D Hoover of Reel Dream Properties LLC, property owner, is requesting a variance to Chapter 1161.06 of the City of Heath Codified Ordinances for minimum setback requirements for residential areas which requires a 30-foot front yard setback minimum. Mr. Hoover is requesting a 5-foot variance to reduce this setback requirement from 30 feet to 25 feet to replace the already existing deck with a new deck, same size.
Case # 12-2026 (555 S. 30th St./030-098904-00.000)
Nicole Austin, agent for the property owner, Anthony Sax of Protive LLC, is requesting a variance to Chapter 1171.04 for conditional uses in a B-2 Neighborhood Business District. The conditional use is being requested to allow the property to operate as a body art and cosmetic tattoo studio specializing in lip, blush and eyebrow tattooing services.
