NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMMUNITY PRESERVATION ACT (CPA)
Notice is hereby given that the Framingham Community Preservation Committee (CPC) will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026, 7:00 PM, in the Blumer Community Room, lower level, Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street, Framingham, Massachusetts, to give citizens an opportunity to comment on needs, possibilities, resources and preferences related to open space, historic preservation, outdoor recreation and community housing in the City, which then will be considered in the preparation of an update to the Community Preservation Plan. The updated Plan will be used to guide the CPC’s decision-making on Community Preservation Act (CPA) project proposals.

Following the publishing of the 2026 update to the Community Preservation Plan, which will include guidance and criteria for selecting projects, the CPC will solicit project proposals, review submitted applications, and recommend projects to the City Council for funding. The deadline for acceptance of full application submissions for the next round is expected to be November 16, 2026. Recommendations to the City Council will be made in April 2027.
