NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONE OF REAL PROPErty
The City Council of Woodward, Iowa, will discuss the approval of a change in zoning for the parcel described as:
The Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, except a tract of land 170 feet wide east and west and 900 feet long north and south bounded on the east the by West boundary line of the highway and bounded on the south by the north boundary line of the highway; and the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; and the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the north 73 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; all in Section 13 Township 81 North, Range 27 West of the 5th P.M., Dallas County, Iowa.
The owners of the property, the Shannon Family, have requested that the zoning be changed from A-1 Agricultural District to E-1 Eco-Business Park Zoning District. The Council will meet on the 8th day of June, 2026, at the Woodward City Hall, 105 E 2nd Street, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the rezone proposal.
At that time and place, oral or written comments or objections may be filed or made, and following the hearing, the City Council will make a determination on the rezoning of the property.
