LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Abington Township (the “Board”) will meet on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., in the Abington Township Municipal Building located at 1176 Old York Road, Abington PA, 19001, to conduct public hearings on the applications listed below, together with any other business coming before the Board, at which time interested citizens may attend and will be given the opportunity to be heard. A virtual option for observing the meeting and hearings will be available. Log-in information will be posted at least 5 days in advance at www.abingtonpa.gov. Any person seeking party status must attend in person.

26-25: Emily and Sulamar Bagnell request a Special Exception pursuant to Abington Township Zoning Ordinance (the “Ordinance”) §1906 for Expansion of a Nonconforming Use at real property identified as 1378 Arline Ave, within the R-4 Medium-High-Density Residential Zoning District, Ward #15.
26-26: William Ulmer Jr. and Maryanne Ulmer request Variances from Ordinance §302.Figure 3.1 to allow greater than the Maximum Impervious and less than the Minimum Green Area at real property identified as 1472 Gunpowder Road, within the R-1 Low-Density Residential Zoning District, Ward #1.
26-27: Brent and Kelly Asplundh request the following relief from the Ordinance to construct a Fence at real property identified as 1356 Meadowbrook Rd, within the R-1 Low-Density Residential Zoning District, Ward #1:
1. a Variance from Ordinance §2103.A.Use A-13.1 to construct a Fence higher than 6 ft; and
2. a Variance from Ordinance §2103.A.Use A-13.2 to construct a Fence higher than 4 ft within the Front Yard setback; and
3. a Variance from Ordinance §2103.A.Use A-13.7 to construct a Fence using powder coated metal wire material.
