
LEGAL NOTICE
The following is the legislation passed by Wooster City Council at their regular meeting held on June 1, 2026, and is available for public review upon request:
Ordinance No. 2026-12 – An Ordinance declaring the improvement to certain parcels within the City, an area herein referenced as "South Market Street TIF", to be a public purpose and exempt from taxation pursuant to ORC 5709.40(B); providing for the collection and deposit of service payments and specifying the purposes for which those service payments may be expended, and allowing for immediate enactment
Resolution No. 2026-31 – A Resolution providing for the annual tax budget for fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027
Ordinance No. 2026-13 - An Ordinance vacating an approximately five hundred (500) foot portion of Progress Drive in the City of Wooster, bounded by lot numbers 9624 and 9652 (being Wayne County permanent parcel nos. 64-02030.012 and 64-02030.012, respectively)
Resolution No. 2026-32 - A Resolution authorizing the Director of Administration to advertise according to law and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for the Christmas Run Park Finn Restroom Replacement, and allowing for immediate enactment
Resolution No. 2026-33 - A Resolution authorizing the expenditure of additional funds for services from RETTEW, and allowing for immediate enactment
Resolution No. 2026-34 - A Resolution authorizing the Director of Administration to enter into a contract for professional design services with CESO, Inc. for the Silver Road Improvements Project, and allowing for immediate enactment
Resolution No. 2026-35 - A Resolution authorizing the Director of Administration to advertise according to law and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for a waterline replacement project on Eddy Way, between Reed Road and Carter Drive, and allowing for immediate enactment
Resolution No. 2026-36 - A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit an application to the State of Ohio Department of Development Office of Community Infrastructure for a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant for a PY26 Critical Infrastructure Grant, to accept such monies, if awarded, to execute any necessary documents in connection therewith, and allowing for immediate enactment
