INVITATION TO BID
The Lebanon City Fire Department will be accepting bids for the following Station 1 Projects:
BUILDING RENOVATIONS AND ADDITION WORK
Bid proposals for the “Station 1 Renovations and Addition” will be received by Arthur Funk & Sons, Inc., by Todd Fiucci, no later than Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Drawings will be available to bidders on/after Monday, June 1, 2026, from Funk Construction. Contact Todd Fiucci at tfiucci@funkconstruction.com to receive PDF bidding documents.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held, followed by a tour of the area of work. Bidders will meet at the Lebanon City Fire Department, 700 South 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
All contractors are required to visit the site prior to submitting a bid.
Construction of the Work shall be substantially completed on, or before, Friday, January 15, 2027.
Bidders’ proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer’s check, bank cashier’s check, or bid bond in the form included with the bidding documents. A satisfactory corporate surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid together with the aggregate sum of all additive alternates. All proposals received will be opened and tabulated electronically. Bids will be read publicly at Lebanon City Fire Department, 700 South 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. A copy of the bid tabulation will be available via email to Joseph S. Connor, AIA at jconnor@beershoffman.com and Brian Rummel, RA at brummel@beershoffman.com after the Bid.
All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities, defects, errors, omissions, mistakes or irregularities in proposals, to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof and to make awards as may be deemed in its best interest.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ABATEMENT WORK
Bids will be received by the LEBANON FIRE STATION #1 located at 700 South 8th Street in Lebanon, Pennsylvania until Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM, and will be officially opened and read aloud at that time for the following Contract #26-1034-046.
This Project consists of, but is not limited to, the following:
Approximately 4000 Square Feet of Non-Friable Linoleum\Black Mastic (Grinding),
Unit Price for Fitting Insulation Throughout (Quantity Unknown), and
Removing the Existing Sheet Vinyl that is Not Hot then Grind the Floors Smooth.
Contract Documents, including Information to Bidders, may be obtained by prospective bidders from the Environmental Consultant, Cumberland Analytical Laboratories, Inc. (CALI) located at 125 Frytown Road in Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17015, (717) 379-3782 upon deposit of a check in the amount of $75.00 payable to Cumberland Analytical Laboratories, Inc. for each set of Contract Documents, which fee will not be refunded.
Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM, at the Lebanon Fire Station #1 located at 700 South 8th Street in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
The mandatory Pre-Bid Conference must be attended by all Prospective Bidders.
No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by cash, a certified check or by a cashier’s check drawn upon a bank authorized to do business in this Commonwealth or by a Bid Bond with corporate surety payable to the City of Lebanon in the amount equal to 10% of the extended bid amount.
The Lebanon Fire Station #1 reserves the right to waive any informalities in the Bids and to reject any and all Bids.
All wages shall comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. A copy of the Prevailing Wage Rate Determination is included in these Contract Documents.
