NOTICE OF INTENT TO AUTHORIZE LEASE   NOW COMES Madison County and pursuant to NC Gen. Stat. 160A-272 and gives notice of Madison County’s intent to enter into a Lease Agreement with the Spring Creek Community Center, Inc. for a period commencing on 16 July 2026 and ending 30 June 2030 at an annual lease payment of $1.00 per year. The property subject to the Lease is located in the Spring Creek Township, commonly known as “The Old Spring Creek School Building” which is currently occupied by the Spring Creek Community Center, NC-209 Highway, Hot Springs, North Carolina. That building commonly known as “The Old Spring Creek School Building” and that parcel of land on which said building is located whose boundary is established by NC Highway 209, and whose remaining boundaries are established by the centerline of the circular driveway that surrounds said building and exits and enters NC-209 Highway together with and subject to the rights of the Lessor and Lessee to shared use of said driveway and common parking areas.   Further, it is the intent of Madison County to enter into this Lease Agreement by resolution to be adopted at its regular meeting on 16 July 2026.   June 10, 2026.   MANDY BRADLEY, Clerk Madison County Board of Commissioners June 10,2026     12382176
