ORDINANCE S-52852 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND CONTRACT 159946 WITH SUNDT CONSTRUCTION, INC., TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK SERVICES FOR THE CAVE CREEK WATER RECLAMATION PLANT REHABILITATION PROJECT; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO DISBURSE FUNDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHOENIX as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute an amendment to Contract No. 159946 with Sundt Construction, Inc., to provide additional funding for Construction Manager at Risk Construction services for the Cave Creek Water Reclamation Plant Rehabilitation project. There is no change to the term of the agreement. The contract cost will increase by an additional fifty-nine million four hundred thousand dollars ($59,400,000) for a new total amount not to exceed three hundred fifty-nine million four hundred thousand dollars ($359,400,000), including all subcontractor and reimbursable costs. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute additional amendments to the contract as necessary within the approved expenditure authority. SECTION 2. The City Controller is authorized to disburse all funds for the purposes of this ordinance. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Phoenix this 20th day of May 2026.
