ORDINANCE S-52856 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND AGREEMENT WITH KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE DOBBINS ROAD: SR202L TO 27TH AVENUE PROJECT; TO EXECUTE AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT AS NECESSARY WITHIN THE COUNCIL-APPROVED EXPENDITURE AUTHORITY; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO DISBURSE FUNDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHOENIX as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute an amendment to Agreement 162524 with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to provide additional Design Services for the Dobbins Road: SR202L to 27th Avenue Project. The term of the agreement amendment is three years from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work scope identified and incorporated into the agreement prior to the end of the term may be agreed to by the parties, and work may extend past the termination of the agreement. No additional changes may be executed after the end of the term. This amendment will increase the agreement’s value by six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000), for a new total amount not to exceed two million four hundred forty-seven thousand five hundred seventy-three and 87/100 dollars ($2,447,573.87), including all subconsultant and reimbursable costs. Payments may be made up to agreement limits for all rendered agreement services, which may extend past the agreement termination. SECTION 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute all amendments to the agreement as necessary within the Council-approved expenditure authority. SECTION 3. The City Controller is authorized to disburse all funds for purposes of this ordinance. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Phoenix this 20th day of May 2026.
