ORDINANCE S-52860 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND CONTRACTS WITH SEVERAL CONTRACTORS TO EXTEND THE TERM AND ALLOW ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES FOR THE CONTINUED PURCHASE OF HEAVY-DUTY FLEET, CONSTRUCTION AND AGRICULTURAL/INDUSTRIAL PARTS, SERVICES AND ACCESSORIES; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO DISBURSE FUNDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHOENIX as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute amendments to Contract 154379 with Balar Holding Corp.; 154378 with Drake Truck Bodies, LLC; 154376 with Fleetpride, Inc.; 154375 with Reading Truck Equipment, LLC, a subsidiary of J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc.; and 154377 with Don Sanderson Ford, Inc. dba Sanderson Ford for the continued purchase of heavy-duty fleet, construction and agricultural/industrial parts, services and accessories by the Public Works Department. The term of the contracts will be extended to May 31, 2027. The amendments will increase the combined cost of the contracts by up to eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000). The combined total cost of the contracts, as amended, will not exceed five million ninety-five thousand dollars ($5, 095,000). SECTION 2. The City Controller is authorized to disburse all funds for the purposes of this Ordinance. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Phoenix this 20th day of May 2026.
