ORDINANCE S-52864 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND CONTRACT 144945 WITH ARCADIS U.S., INC., TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE CAVE CREEK WATER RECLAMATION PLANT ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS INSPECTION AND TESTING SERVICES PROJECT; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO DISBURSE FUNDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHOENIX as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute an amendment to Contract No. 144945 with Arcadis U.S., Inc., to provide additional funding for Professional Services for the Cave Creek Water Reclamation Plant Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems Inspection and Testing Services project. The term of the agreement amendment is two years from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed associated with the amendment. Work scope identified and incorporated into the agreement prior to the end of the term may be agreed to by parties, and work may extend past the termination of the agreement. No additional changes may be executed after the end of the term. The contract cost will increase by an additional seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) for a new total amount not to exceed one million six hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($1,685,000), including all subcontractor and reimbursable costs. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute additional amendments to the contract as necessary within the approved expenditure authority. SECTION 2. The City Controller is authorized to disburse all funds for the purposes of this ordinance. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Phoenix this 20th day of May 2026.
