NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE
DALLAS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in the Dallas Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, located at 800 Court Street, Room 2400 in Adel, Iowa, a hearing will be held by the Dallas County Board of Supervisors for consideration of the following petitions to?wit:
Item 1 (9:30AM): An ordinance re-zoning parcel 1529400009 from A-1 (Agricultural) to RE-1 (Suburban Estate), located in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 29, T78N, R27W (Van Meter Township) for Lauterbach Family Farms (Lance Lauterbach) (Initial consideration).
Item 2 (9:45AM): An ordinance re-zoning parcel 0713400005 from A-1 (Agricultural) to RE-1 (Suburban Estate) on Parcel 0713400005, located in NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 13, T80N, R27W (Sugar Grove Township) for Kelvin Morgan & Debra Wyckoff (Initial consideration).
Item 3 (10:00AM): An ordinance re-zoning parcel 1129200005 from C-1 (General Commercial) to I-1 (Light Industrial) on Parcel 1129200005, located in the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 29, T79N, R27W (Adel Township) for Tommy Thorpe (Civil Design Advantage, Jon McDonald) (Initial consideration).
Item 4 (10:15M): A petition to consider approval of an amendment to Chapter 47 (Dallas County Construction Code) of the Dallas County Code of Ordinances regarding passive radon mitigation systems in new single-family and two-family homes.
