Mayor Clint Davis opened the Special City Council meeting at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 1906 Main Street, Granger, Iowa, 50109. Roll Call: Present: Bos, Hall, Shryock Not Present: Bermel, Cecak Hall made a motion to amend the agenda to add Tyson Bos replacing Chris Cecak to the City Administrator Interview Committee under #3, seconded by Shryock. All Ayes. Hall made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Shryock. All Ayes. Appointment of Jerid Shryock and Tyson Bos to the City Administrator Interview Committee replacing Kirk Bjorland and Chris Cecak, was approved by Hall, seconded by Bos. All Ayes. Action to hold a closed session to evaluate the professional competency of an individual or individuals whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered, and when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual has requested a closed session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(i)[requires the public vote of either two-thirds of the whole Council, or all of the members present] and to interview and review candidates was approved by Bos, seconded by Hall.
