SECTION 00110 - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   Soumas Avenue Improvements City of Perry Perry, Iowa   Public Hearing on Proposed Contract Documents and Estimated Costs for Repair or Improvement. A public hearing will be held by the City of Perry on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its council meeting at 9:00 A.M. local time on June 30, 2026, in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, located at 1102 Willis Avenue, Perry, Iowa 50220.   PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construction of Soumas Avenue from Nolan and Carney Drive to approximately 2500 feet north of 150th Street. Construction includes approximately 2700 feet of 9 inch PCC pavement generally 31 feet wide back of curb to curb, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain, sidewalks, curb and gutters and other items pertinent to construction.   At said hearing, the City Council will consider the plans, specifications, proposed form of contract, and estimated total cost for the project, the same now being on file in the office of the City Clerk, 1102 Willis Avenue, Suite 300, Perry, Iowa 50220, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said City Council will also receive and consider any objections to said plans, specifications, estimate of cost, and form of contract made by any interested party.   Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference will be held on June 16, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. local time in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building located at 1102 Willis Avenue, Perry, Iowa 50220.   This Notice is given by the authority of the City of Perry   /s/Elizabeth Hix, City Clerk (Published in the Perry Chief on 6/4/2026. 1T) #12382542
