Public Meeting
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chap. 131, §40, as amended, the Southbridge Conservation Commission will hold a Public Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026, beginning at 5:45 p.m. in the McCann Conference Room of Town Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to act on a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by the VHB on behalf of Massachusetts Electric Company for proposed installation of underground utilities within existing paved roadways and private roadways/driveways within the buffer zone to Bank and Bordering Vegetated Wetlands for both the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Southbridge Wetlands Protection Bylaw and the local 200-foot buffer to streams and 50-foot No Build Setback. The project is located at 53 and 81 Snow Street and in the Snow Street and Moon Street Roadways and Rights-of-ways. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on this request should appear at the time and place designated. Copies of the filing are located at the Southbridge Town Clerk’s Office.
