The Logan County Housing Authority, Lincoln, Illinois will receive sealed bids for:
PROJECT TITLE: Interior Renovation Work
Logan Court High Rise Apartments
Centennial Court Community Building
Lincoln, Logan County, Illinois
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work shall include interior renovation work at Logan Court High Rise Apartments and Centennial Court Community Building located in Lincoln, IL. Work entails the complete renovation of interior restrooms at various residences at Logan Court High Rise and fire alarm work at Centennial Court Community Building along with all associated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. All work shall be bid under one prime contract.
Bid Opening: All bids shall be delivered in sealed envelopes, furnished by the Contractor, to the Office of the Logan County Housing Authority located at 1028 N. College Street, Lincoln, Illinois 62656 on or before 3:30 P.M. prevailing time on Wednesday 29 July 2026. No bids will be accepted after that time and date. Immediately after the closing time for receiving bids, they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Pre-Bid Meeting: A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday 15 July 2026, at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, at the Office of the Logan County Housing Authority located at 1028 N. College Street, Lincoln, Illinois.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a cashier’s check, bank draft or bid bond secured by a surety company acceptable to the U.S. Government and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, in the amount of 5% of the base bid, payable to the Logan County Housing Authority, Lincoln, Illinois. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required of the bidder to whom a contract is awarded.
Bidding documents will be made available via electronic mail upon request from the A/E, Green Associates, Inc. Contact Stephanie Rogers at srogers@greenassociates.com to request a set. If the Contractor requests physical copies of the bidding documents, a plan deposit made payable to the A/E in the amount of $50.00 will be required. This deposit is refundable ONLY to those Contractors who do submit a bid and return the plans and specifications in good condition.

All Prime Contractors requesting Bid Documents sent to them, will be shipped via UPS Ground and the contractor shall submit a separate check (non-refundable) made payable to the A/E in the amount of $25.00 per set for shipping and handling.
All bidders are advised that the law concerning Federal prevailing wage rates issued by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts must be complied with. Prevailing wage rates have been determined and are included within the Project Manual. Section 3 bidders are welcome.
No bid may be withdrawn 60 days after date of opening of bids, and the Owner reserves the right to waive any and all informality on bidding and the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to accept the bid or bids being most favorable to the Logan County Housing Authority after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
