NOTICE FOR BIDDERS SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON   Public notice is hereby given by the Township of Washington that sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Township Clerk, Township Municipal Building, 2436 Route 536, Green Bank, New Jersey, for the collection and disposal of solid waste for the Township of Washington in accordance with specifications and proposal forms which may be obtained by emailing a request to Ihand@wtbcnj.org or Kbacon@wtbcnj.org (preferred) or from the Office of the Township Clerk on Thursday, June 04, 2026.   Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder clearly identified on the outside of the envelope, together with the notation "SEALED BID FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL". Said bids will be received by the Township Clerk until 1:00p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the Township Municipal Building, 2436 Route 536, Green Bank, New Jersey, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read before Township Officials.   A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held virtually via Teams meeting. Anyone who requests a copy of the document will be emailed an invite to the pre-bid along when they receive the document. Pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00p.m on Thursday, June 18, 2026.   Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the Township of Washington in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price of the proposal. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 (Affirmative Action). In compliance with P.L. 1977, C.33, the Bid must state whether or not any shareholders hold more than ten percent (10%) interest in the bidding corporation or partnership, and if so, must state such shareholder's or partner's name and addresses. No bid may be withdrawn without the consent of the Township of Washington for a period of sixty days after the time for opening of bids has passed.   The Township of Washington reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law.   Lisa H.
