CITY OF INDIO NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Indio will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The public hearing will be held in person at 100 Civic Center Drive, Indio, CA 92201, to consider the following: Public Hearing Item: Review of Planning Commission Recommendations for the Roadrunner Flats project to approve (PLAN-PRD-25-0023) for the development of 31 units consisting of 30 single-family residences with ADU's and one (1) managers unit, clubhouse, leasing office, indoor and outdoor fitness center, dog run, playground, BBQ area, landscape open space, and offsite improvements a Tentative Tract Map No. 39405 (PLAN-TTM-25-0005) to subdivide a 10.07-acre parcel (APN: 691-060-005) into thirty-one (31) lots for residential development for the Roadrunner Flats projects located north of Avenue 39 and westerly of Jefferson Street. The project has a General Plan land use designation of Desert Estates Transition and a zoning code designation of Desert Estates Transition-3 (DET-3). California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: The City of Indio, as Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), reviewed a CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 Consistency Checklist (PLAN-ER-25-0025) prepared by the applicant for Tentative Tract Map No. 39405 and the associated Planning Review for development of the Project. The checklist determined the project is consistent with the General Plan 2040 and the certified General Plan Update Program Environmental Impact Report (SCH No. 2015081021). The analysis concluded the project would not result in new, peculiar, or more severe environmental impacts, and no additional environmental review is required pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15183.
