The proposed amendments would revise corresponding provisions of the Local Coastal Program Implementation Plan and Title 24, including Chapters 24.105.300 (Streamlining Procedures), 24.515.100 (Coastal Permit Procedure: Notice and Hearing), and 24.560 (Notice and Hearing Requirements), to consolidate, clarify, and streamline public notice procedures; establish consistent noticing requirements across entitlement types; update cross-references throughout the Municipal Code and Local Coastal Program Implementation Plan; and clarify requirements for mailed, published, posted, and electronic notice. The amendments are intended to improve the consistency and administration of the City's public noticing procedures while maintaining opportunities for public participation in the land use review process.
