ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received in accordance with law until 10:00 a.m. on the 25th day of June 2026, at the offices of the Windham Exempted Village School District Board of Education (“Board”), 9530 Bauer Avenue, Windham, OH 44288, for the replacement of the roof at the Katherine Thomas Elementary School building (the “Project”). The bids will be publicly opened and read by the Treasurer. The bids will be tabulated and reported to the Board at its next meeting. No bid shall be considered unless made on the bid form available at the office of the Treasurer of the Board of Education, 9530 Bauer Avenue, Windham, OH 44288, and in accordance with the instructions to bidders, which are available and may be obtained at the office of the Treasurer. Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the Project, or a certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the completion of the Project and furnish a performance bond for the amount of the contract at the time the bidder executes the contract. All such bonds, certified checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, and letters of credit shall be payable to the Windham Exempted Village School District Board of Education. The Board intends to accept the lowest responsible bid for the purchase but reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts of any or all bids, and to waive irregularities which may occur in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the bids. The attention of bidders is directed to the statutory requirements of the State of Ohio relating to the licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state.
