NOTICE   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 7 PM at the Jenkintown Borough Hall, 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown Pennsylvania 19046, Borough Council of the Borough of Jenkintown will hold a public hearing and thereafter will consider, and if appropriate, may enact an Ordinance entitled:   AN ORDINANCE OF JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, TO REZONE VARIOUS PARCELS ON LEEDOM STREET, CEDAR STREET, WILLOW STREET, GREENWOOD AVENUE, AND MCGOLDRICK AVENUE FROM THEIR EXISTING ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF TOWN CENTER DISTRICT TO C-1 MODIFIED RESIDENTIAL OR C-RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS AND TO AMEND AND RESTATE THE ZONING MAP OF JENKINTOWN; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.   The proposed Ordinance would approve the adoption of a revised Zoning Map and rezone certain parcels located on the 400 block of Leedom Street, the 300 and 400 block of Cedar Street, the 500 block of Willow Street, the 500 block of Greenwood Avenue, and on McGoldrick Avenue. These parcels are all currently zoned Town Center District and the proposed Ordinance would rezone each parcel to either C-1 Modified Residential or C-Residential Zoning Districts. Each of the parcels and their addresses to be rezoned are individually listed in the proposed Ordinance.   A copy of the full text of the Ordinance may be examined or obtained at the Borough of Jenkintown Municipal Building, 700 Summit Avenue, Jenkintown, PA 19046, or may be reviewed at the Montgomery County Law Library during business hours.
