APPROVE INTENT TO LEASE COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY AT 18330 EAST HARNEY
LANE, LODI, CALIFORNIA, AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON JUNE 30, 2026, AT 9:00A.M. TO OPEN SEALED PROPOSALS (2/3RDS VOTE REQUIRED)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County declares an intent to lease real property on June 02, 2026 in its chambers on the sixth floor of the Administration Building,
44 North San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California.
WHEREAS, the property consists of 170 acres of Zinfandel and 95 acres of Cabernet vineyard located at 18330 East Harney Lane, Lodi, California. The minimum terms and
conditions of the lease are as follows:
1. Permitted Use: farming or permittable agriculture use.
2. Premises: Property address 18330 East Harney Lane, Lodi, California, and consisting of 278.99 acres.
3. Initial Term of Lease: Fifteen (15) years from the commencement date.
4. Initial Lease Payment: No rent shall be charged during the first five (5) years of the lease term. During years six (6) through ten (10), monthly rent shall be $5,000 ($17.86 per
acre), for an annual rent of $60,000. During years eleven (11) through fifteen (15), monthly rent shall be $15,000 ($53.77 per acre), for an annual rent of $180,000.
5. Utilities: Tenant shall be responsible for all maintenance and utility costs associated with the Property.
Interested parties should submit written sealed proposals to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Suite 627, 44 N. San Joaquin Street, Sixth Floor, Stockton, California, prior to or on June 29, 2026 by 2:00PM.
