PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Roland is hereby providing public notice that the City Council plans to consider an ordinance at their June 17, 2026, regular City Council Meeting which will make changes to the rates for solid waste collection. A copy of the draft ordinance is available in the office of the City Clerk and can be reviewed at City Hall, 120 N. Main Street, Roland, Iowa 50236. The public is welcome to attend the Council Meeting on June 17, 2026, and make comments regarding the proposed ordinance during the public hearing which will be held prior to the Council deliberation on the draft ordinance. In addition, if anyone would like to submit written comments prior to the meeting, they may do so by email to the Clerk at cityofroland@gmail.com or by U.S. Mail at P.O. Box 288, Roland, Iowa 50236. Comments received prior to the Council Meeting will be presented to the Council during the public hearing.
