VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE, PORTAGE COUNTY REQUEST FOR BIDS The Village of Nelsonville, Bids for the following (LRIP) road project: Pavelski Road (From County Road SS for 592 feet to Town of Amherst Boundary Line) LRIP Project # 39508802704 Technical Specifications: Contractor is responsible for all traffic control. This consists of Barricading, flagging, and advanced Signage consistent with Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Low shoulder signage shall be provided by the contractor. Prep & Paving: -Prep Work to Cuff, Pulverize, Regrade and Roll, and Cisler Road Material was completed November 2025. -70-Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Travel Width: Per Lane 10 ft (20 ft) -Butt Joints at Project Ends and Driveways as needed to allow for the Overlay to Match Adjacent Pavement -Pave the Surface with WisDOT Spec Type LT Asphalt Mix Compacted to an Average Thickness of 1.50 Inches. (Total Thickness of Two Lifts 3.00 Inches) Shouldering: -Furnish and Install Base for 2 ft Shoulders and Driveway Approaches. -Engineer Certification is required for this project and Certificate of Liability Insurance. -Work must comply with WisDOT Specifications for materials and Workmanship.
