NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF GRAND CHUTE
OUTAGAMIE COUNTY
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The Outagamie County Drainage Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Osborn Town Hall, W3389 County Road EE, Seymour, to consider a petition filed on May 28, 2026 for a proposal to withdraw parcels of property from the Bovina/Black Creek Drainage District.
Per State Statute 88.80 (1) Any person owning lands within a drainage district may, under an order issued by the drainage board, withdraw the lands from the district if: (a) All benefits assessed against the lands have been paid; and (b) The lands to be withdrawn will receive no benefit from the drainage district; and (c) The drainage district will not be materially injured by the withdrawal of such lands. Petitioner is requesting withdrawal from the district for purposes of establishment of a wetland mitigation bank.
The parcels in question are: #020023000 – 36 acres, #020023100 – 35.9 acres, #020023200 – 35.8 acres, #020024500 -17.4 acres; approximately 125.1 acres located north of Highway 54, east of Mack Road, south of County Road P and west of Van Patten Drive, Sections 10 and 11, T23N R16E, Town of Bovina, Outagamie County, Wisconsin. Any interested person may address the Drainage Board by letter or appear in person or by agent and be heard on the date of the hearing. If the Drainage Board finds that the conditions of the above sub (1) have been met, it shall issue an order detaching the lands from the district.
