SECTION 00100 INVITATION TO BID   Separate sealed bids for construction of the Great Falls International Airport Parking Lot Improvements Project will be received by the Great Falls International Airport at the Administration Office on the second floor of the Terminal at 2800 Terminal Drive, Great Falls, MT 59404 until 2:00 PM local time on June 23, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud.   The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Project 1, Rental Car and Hourly Parking Lot Improvements, Project 2 – Parking Lot Construction, and Project 3 – Parking Lot Repair and Pavement Maintenance   The Contract Documents consisting of half-size Drawings and Project Manual may be viewed or obtained by either electronic documents on-line, or a hard copy at the office of Morrison-Maierle, Inc., 21 3rd St N, Unit 4B Great Falls, MT 59401. Only firms obtaining documents by these methods will be placed on the Planholders List.   Complete electronic Project Plans, Specifications, and Bid Proposal Packet are available at the Morrison-Maierle website “www.m-m.net”, by clicking on the “Projects” tab, scroll down, click on ‘view our current projects bidding’, and select this project from the project list. Prospective bidders may view the bid documents at no cost under ‘view bid documents’. To be considered a plan holder, you must register for a free membership on QuestCDN and download the contract documents in digital form under ‘download bid documents’. Interested CONTRACTORS are encouraged to attend. A tour of the project site(s) will be conducted after the meeting.   CONTRACTOR(s) and any of the CONTRACTOR’s subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).   All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR(s) or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of the United States and the state of Montana [and of CASCADE County] in accordance with the [schedule of Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor] and [/or] the schedule of Montana Prevailing Wage Rates established by the Montana Department of Labor and Industry included in the Project Manual.   The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.   Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Great Falls International Airport Authority, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Construction Performance Bond and a Construction (Labor and Materials) Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
