NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF TWO RIVERS
BOARD OF APPEALS
Public notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeals, City of Two Rivers, will meet on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM, Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 1717 East Park Street, for the purpose of hearing the following appeal:
Appeal of Chuelouakachi Xiong (applicant) proposes to construct a 6-inch roof overhang on the garage at 1406 Glenwood Street. The structure is nonconforming as it is setback too close to property lines. The property is zoned Residential District (R-3). This appeal is necessary because Section 10-1-22, Entitled “R-3 Single and double family residence district” includes provisions for the setbacks and placement of structures. Structures must be placed at least five feet from an interior side lot line.
The appeal is for the construction of a 6-inch overhang on all four sides of the garage roof. This will bring the overhang up to the property line on the front corner of the garage.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, written comments may be submitted and received by the Inspections Department prior to the date of the hearing. Said comments shall be read into the record during the meeting.
