TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH LONDONDERRY
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT BID PROJECT
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
The Board of Supervisors for the Township of South Londonderry, Lebanon County, PA, will receive sealed bid proposals at the South Londonderry Township municipal building at 27 W. Market Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 for the Playground Equipment Bid consisting of Playground Equipment Package No.1 and Playground Equipment Package No.2 as described within the bid documents or equal or greater quality equipment, both consisting of a multi-level tower system with slides, swings and activity panels of commercial grade construction that meet ASTM standards, CPSC Public Playground Safety Guidelines, and/or other applicable industry standards, until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on July 2, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the South Londonderry Township municipal building at 27 W. Market Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. All Bid Documents are available at the South Londonderry Township municipal building.
Bids must be submitted in writing in sealed envelopes marked “Playground Equipment Bid” at the South Londonderry Township municipal building at the above address on or before July 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. All bids must be submitted using the bid forms provided within the bid documents and must be accompanied by a properly executed Bidders Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Security and all other requisite documents identified and/or provided as part of the bid documents. Questions regarding the Specifications shall be submitted in writing to Richie Deibert (richie@southlondonderry.org) at the Township.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount as bid security and all other required documents as set forth in the bid documents. The successful bidder shall, within fifteen (15) days after notification of award, enter into a written contract with the Township and deliver a Performance Bond guaranteeing performance of the contract in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, together with all other required documentation set forth in the bid documents. All bids shall remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
The Township expressly reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and may re-advertise if the best interests of the Township are to be hereby promoted. The Township may waive technical defects if, in its judgment, the best interests of the Township shall so require. No bid may be considered from any person, firm or corporation who has defaulted in the performance of any contract or agreement previously made with the Township or conclusively shown to have failed to perform satisfactorily such contract or agreement with the Township.
