CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP PUBLIC NOTICE FOB MATERIAL BID NOTICE   SEALED BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED by the Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors at the Township Municipal Building 271 Route 715, Brodheadsville, Pa., until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, and will be opened and read at 9:15 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2026. The bids will be discussed and possibly awarded at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. for the following:   20,000 lbs. ASTM 6690 Type 2 Rubberized crack seal   Contract Pub 408/latest edition shall apply. The above material is to be bid FOB plant and to be picked up at the convenience of the Road master. A standard per mile rate will be added to each bid to determine the low bid on a total cost basis. Bidders shall provide with the bid proposal a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to the Municipality. The successful bidder will be required to post a 50% performance bond within 20 days of the award of the contract based on the total amount of the award.
