BY VIRTUE of and to satisfy a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued from the Honorable 9th Judicial District Court, and to me directed as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Auctioneer of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, directing and commanding me to seize and sell the property, rights and credits of the defendant, I have seized the following property and will offer for sale to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction on the second floor of the Court House in Alexandria, Louisiana, between the hours prescribed by law, on Wednesday the 15th day of July, 2026 the following property to-wit:
2017 CMH (TRUM) manufactured home bearing Serial No. BEL006722TX
AND
A certain piece, parcel or tract of land, together with all improvements located thereon and all rights, ways and privileges thereto appertaining, containing 3.38 acres, more or less, situated in the north half of the Southwest quarter of the northeast quarter (N 1/2 of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4) of Section 25, Township 3 North, Range 4 West, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, and more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the northeast corner of said SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and run North 89 degrees 55 minutes West 452.7 feet to a point on the eastern right of way line of LA Hwy 28; thence run South 24 degrees 44 minutes West 313.1 feet to a point; thence run South 89 degrees 55 East 583 feet to a point; then run North 0 degrees 01 East 284.6 feet back to the point of beginning, all as more particularly shown on plat of survey by Daniel D. Sandefur, dated September 2, 1977.
Less and Except:
A certain piece, parcel or tract of land, together with all improvements located thereon and all rights, ways and privileges thereto appertaining, containing 1.691 acres, more or less, situated in the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (N 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of NE 1/4) of Section 25, Township 3 North, Range 4 West, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
Said property being more clearly described on that certain Certificate of Survey by Ballard CLC, Inc., dated November 17, 2016, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Said property being the same property in that certain Act of Donation from Berton James Broussard, Nathan Gerard Broussard, April Gay Marie Hinkley and Ida Lorraine Gordon, to Dorothy Schexnayder Broussard dated December 15, 2005, filed January 27, 2006, recorded in COB 1743, page 740, entry 1299349, and that certain Act of Donation Inter Vivos of a Immovable from Dorothy Schexnayder Broussard to April Gay Marie Broussard and Roy D. Murray dated August 17, 2015, filed August 21, 2015, recorded in COB 2016, page 800, entry no. 1559000, records of Rapides Parish.
