NOTICE of COST PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing is scheduled for June 30,2026 in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 915 Third Street, Alexandria, Louisiana, at 5:00 p.m. This Public Hearing is in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:4766 et seq, the City of Alexandria “shall serve notice on the owner of the building or structure requiring him to show cause at a meeting of the governing authority, regular or special, why the owner should not pay the costs incurred for the demolition and/or removal and maintenance, securing of property for public safety of the said structure.”

The cost of demolition and/or removal of the structures, or securing of premises for public safety and demand for payment is hereby made. The Property Owner may write a check or money order payable to the City of Alexandria, City Tax Office, P.O. Box 71, Alexandria, LA 71309 to clear the debt and avoid a lien against the property.
